Difficulty: Easy
Accessibility: Flat, easy going with some tree roots underfoot in the woods, can be muddy
Transport: Wasdale shuttle runs during the summer
Parking: Small National Trust car park at Nether Wasdale. Please consider donating if you are not a member.

This walk is a great choice if you’re looking to get away from it all. It’s very quiet and in a very beautiful place. The podcast gives you a further insight into the hidden world of Freshwater Pearl Mussels, the more I’ve learnt about them, the more I’ve wanted to find out!
