Length: there are lots of trails at Walkmill Community Woodland so you can make it as long or as short as you like! If you explore the whole site you can expect to walk up to 3km
Time: as long as it takes you to explore and play!
Difficulty: Easy and flat
Accessibility: Accessible paths to wheelchair users.
Transport: Accessible on foot from Whitehaven
Parking: Walkmill Community Woodland’s free car park

Everyone loves coming to Walkmill - whether it’s families or wheelchair users who’ve loved exploring the new paths. The Tale Trail map for little ones is a lovely blend of folklore, history, and wildlife information that keeps everyone engaged, and if you’re lucky you could have some memorable wildlife encounters too.
