Egremont (south)
River Totems - a family art trail
This picturesque walk weaves together history, nature, and art. Starting in Egremont’s centre, pass the medieval castle and head through peaceful countryside to the River Ehen. Follow the riverside path, where colorful river totems, inspired by local wildlife and community creativity, will be coming soon. The route ends near the castle ruins, pause to explore before finishing the walk.

It’s wonderful being able to walk direct from Egremont to the river and, once the totems are in place on the riverside in early 2025, it will make such a lovely family walk with the fun Tale Trail map too!
