Morning Wellbeing Sessions at Walkmill Community Woodland

Spending time outdoors and helping to nurture and conserve nature can have many benefits, including helping to reduce stress and anxiety, improving physical health, reducing loneliness and allowing people to feel connected to nature. As part of the Wilder Walkmill project we are encouraging people to spend some time outside in the woodland with us. We will be running regular morning wellbeing sessions throughout the year (usually on the second and third Tuesday of the month) where we will be doing a variety of activities including seed harvesting and planting, fire lighting, cooking, woodwork and arts & crafts, to name just a few.

When: Tuesday 13th February, 10am-12pm

Where: Walkmill Community Woodland (meet at Moresby Rugby Club)

What: We will go for a short walk around the woodland keeping a lookout for birds. We will then have a stop off for teas & coffees and to make our own fat balls and monkey nut strings for the birds

No experience is necessary and we will provide all the tools and materials.
