Celebrate the stunning River Ehen at Longlands on World Rivers Day with us.
When: Sun 22 Sep, 10am - 11.30am & 12.30pm - 2pm
Where: Longlands Lake, meet in the car park at 10am or 12.30pm
What: World Rivers Day, celebrated annually is about bringing people together to raise awareness about the importance of rivers and this year’s theme is about taking action!
We will walk a short distance to the beach on the River Ehen and take part in river dipping, river art, the Big River Watch (a citizen science project) and litter picking.
Please wear wellies and layers suitable for the weather forecast, also bring a change of clothes just in case.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
