Do you live in West Cumbria? Do you want some more physical activity, would like to learn something new, and spend time outdoors?
Join us to help out with conservation activities, spend time in nature, and meet other people in a beautiful woodland area. No experience necessary!
We meet monthly on the fourth Thursday of the month. We’ll do some physical conservation work, and often have time to relax in a nice part of the woodland and make some hot drinks using our Kelly Kettles! We will show you what to do, and there will be something for everyone’s capabilities.
Activities vary each month. In January we will be removing some fencing and rejuvenating some old mine wall features.
Feel free to join us for the whole day, or just pop along for an hour or two.
10.30am to 3pm on Thursday 27th January.
We meet monthly on the fourth Thursday of the month - check out our event listings for more dates!
Meet at 10.30am outside the corner shop in Moresby Parks and we’ll walk into the woodland from there.
It’s handy for us to know numbers in advance so we know how many tools to bring, so please let us know you’re coming by either:
The other dates are:
Thursday 24th February (tree planting along the river Keekle)
Thursday 24th March (fence removal and clearing overgrown areas)
Thursday 28th April (wildflower seed planting)
