Shinrin-Yoku or Forest Bathing is a natural well-being therapy originating from Japan. It has been scientifically proven to have many benefits including boosting the immune system, lowering blood pressure and reducing stress levels. With a qualified Forest Bathing guide, you will be led through a series of mindful ‘invitations’ to connect with yourself and nature and explore how the forest supports our physical and emotional health.
As part of the Wilder Walkmill project we are encouraging people to spend some time outside in the woodland with us. We will be running regular Wellbeing in Nature sessions throughout the year where we will be doing a variety of activities including seed harvesting and planting, fire lighting, cooking, woodwork and arts & crafts, to name just a few.
