We’re taking part in the Allerdale and Lakeland Lottery - a new lottery launched by Allerdale Borough Council which offers prizes of up to £25,000 and money from ticket sales supports local good causes.
Tickets for the weekly lottery draw cost £1 and the first draw will take place on Saturday 19 December 2020. 50p from each ticket bought in aid of West Cumbria Rivers Trust will come straight to us, and a further 10p will go in a central community fund that Allerdale Borough Council will distribute to good causes.
Choose six numbers (from 0-9) for your ticket, and there are prizes for matching numbers from £25 to a jackpot of £25,000.
All tickets bought before the first draw on 19 December will also be entered in a special launch prize draw and will be in with a chance of winning an entertainment bundle – an Amazon Echo Show 8, an Echo Dot, and a Fire 7 tablet.
Your support will help us do even more to improve the rivers and lakes of West Cumbria for both people and wildlife. We’ll be using money raised through the lottery to support our tree-planting work that is a key part of so many of our projects, enabling us to plant more trees to help slow the flow of floodwater, provide habitats for wildlife, and contribute to efforts to mitigate climate change.
Players must be 16 or over and based in the UK.
