Survey Season is upon us

13th June 2018 - Derwent Catchment

Fancy doing something a bit different this summer? Got a few days spare? Want to gain some work experience?

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers and a longer term seasonal survey assistant to join our team and help conduct juvenile fish surveys in the Derwent Catchment.

Survey season starts at the beginning of July and continues until the end of September. You are more than welcome to join us for one day, one week, one month or the whole summer!

All we ask is that you can work well as part of a team, can listen and act upon instructions, are able to undertake physical tasks in and around rivers and can make your own way to the meeting point in Keswick.

You will need to bring a pack lunch, spare clothes, suncream, sun hat, warm clothes/ waterproofs for those less than sunny days and optional polarised sunglasses to help you see the fish.

Sounds interesting?
