Due to the unprecedented global challenges concerning the Covid-19 virus, we regret to inform you that we have taken the decision to postpone the above event.
This decision has not been made in response to any specific developments at West Cumbria Rivers Trust but in direct response to the official Government advice and guidance published regarding social distancing.
We need your help to plant trees and hedges as part of our natural flood management project in the River Glenderamackin catchment area. This event is suitable for beginners and first timers are always welcome – we’ll show you what to do! You will need to be confident walking on uneven terrain as our sites are a distance from the roadside and we won’t always be walking on paths.
You’ll need to bring a packed lunch, clothing appropriate for the weather (including waterproofs) and sturdy footwear. Bear in mind you may get a bit muddy!
Tools are provided. Please bring gardening gloves if you have them – we can provide some if not.
Places are limited to 10 and booking is essential. To book your place, please contact Esther Foster on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07999 366034.
