***CANCELLED*** Volunteering: Hedge planting (Keswick)

30th March 2020

Due to the unprecedented global challenges concerning the Covid-19 virus, we regret to inform you that we have taken the decision to postpone the above event.

This decision has not been made in response to any specific developments at West Cumbria Rivers Trust but in direct response to the official Government advice and guidance published regarding social distancing.

We need your help to plant hedges as part of our natural flood management project in the River Glenderamackin catchment area. This event is suitable for beginners and first timers are always welcome – we’ll show you what to do! You will need to be confident walking on uneven terrain as our sites are a distance from the roadside and we won’t always be walking on paths.
