Bank Stabilisation Workshop, Braystones

Join us for a workshop demonstrating ways to reduce riverbank erosion using soft engineering methods like brash and willow. These techniques are significantly cheaper and have often more successful than the hard engineering methods. The work will help save your soil and improve river habitats.

The workshop is ideally suited to angling club members, riparian owners and those interested in river management. The workshop will be run by the Wild Trout Trust, Environment Agency and West Cumbria Rivers Trust.
