Whit Beck Guided Walk

The restoration of Whit Beck is our largest and most ambitious project to date with 1.2km of natural meandering river channel created to replace 300m of straightened and walled channel.

Come and join us on a guided walk to see how the new channel is developing almost a year after the main construction work was finished.

When: 15th September

Where: Lay-by at Whit Beck bridge, off the B5289 approx 1km from Low Lorton on the Buttermere Rd.

Time: 6pm

Bring: Stout footwear or wellies and waterproofs if wet
