Using Natural Processes to manage flood risk

9th May 2018

With Cumbria having suffered repeated flooding in recent years there is a need to ‘slow the flow’ and hold more water in the landscape to reduce flood risk to towns and villages. West Cumbria Rivers Trust will talk about their ongoing and planned projects and Daniel Turner from the Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust will be showcasing some of the measures taken in Wharfedale to ‘slow the flow’.

7pm, Braithwaite Institute, Braithwaite.
