Come along to this joint event organised by West Cumbria Rivers Trust and the National Trust to help get rid of the invasive Himalayan balsam along the main tributary to Loweswater - Dub Beck.
The event has been organised as part of the Loweswater Care Programme to reduce the impact of this invasive species on the lake and stream ecology and water quality.
When: Wed 22nd July
Where: Meet at the lay-by at the north-western end of the lake, opposite the track up to Askhill Farm.
Bring: Please bring waterproofs if wet and sturdy footwear or wellies (even if it is a dry evening long grass may be wet/damp so waterproof trouser or wellies may be useful).
